Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to FABA Drama! Whether you're new to acting or ready to take the spotlight, here are answers to common questions about our classes, policies, and what makes FABA special.

Who can join FABA Drama?

FABA Drama is open to young performers aged 7 to 18. We welcome all experience levels—from shy beginners to confident stage stars!

When and where do classes take place?

Our classes run weekly during school term time for 7-18 year olds. We offer sessions at Rochester Baptist Church, 8 Crow Lane, ME1 1RF

What do the classes involve?

sessions can include but not exclusive to:

  • Warm-ups & improvisation games

  • Voice and movement training

  • Script work and scene study

  • Camera work

Do you teach dance and singing?

No - we are purely an acting coaching service. We recognise that not every child is interested or gifted in the other 2 disciplines, and that's what makes FABA drama unique.

How much do classes cost?

Fees vary slightly depending on a few factors: age group, class duration, weeks in a term, not every term is comprised of 12 weeks, some terms have less than 12 weeks, all fees that are billed will reflect this. Visit our Prices and Location page for full details.

How do I sign up?

Simply head to our Contact page. We’ll get in touch with next steps and class availability.

You can sign up at anytime, however we limit our classes to 14 students in a group, we therefore have a waiting list if our classes reach full capacity. Once a space becomes available you will be contacted by a member of our team.

How do I cancel my child's classes?

Cancelling your sessions are simple, just give us a written notice 2 weeks in advance. If you cancel in the first 4 weeks of your start date we will give you a full refund of the remaining sessions. Please note refunds will not be given after the first 4 weeks of your start date.

What should my child wear?

Students should wear our branded t-shirts and comfortable joggers or leggings to give maximum flexibility. Trainers or plimsolls no character shoes.

Who teaches the classes?

Our experienced drama tutors are passionate professionals with backgrounds in theatre, film, tv and radio. What makes us unique is that our coaches are still very active in the industry, therefore students get a high roster of teachers who don't just teach from the 'book' but from actual experience. They’re DBS-checked and fantastic with young people!
